About this opportunity

Tritemius is thrilled to announce this partnership with Cardano to launch a builder’s mentorship program to transform 10 selected and promising business concepts related to DeFi, infrastructure, RWAs, and payment projects into a compelling value proposition for a Venture Capital. As part of the program, a Demo day will be held in Madrid, Spain, for the top 5 projects out of the 10 initially chosen for the program. They will have the chance to pitch in front of a selected panel of VCs and Business Angels. The most appreciated project will also be awarded a final prize soon to be disclosed.

Projects solving problems in one (or more) of the following verticals: DeFi, Infrastructure, RWAs, and Payments, who are building either on Cardano or deploy/adapt their solution on Cardano (multi-chain or migration) and - Have achieved some initial traction (demonstrated through, for example: active users / adoption metrics, early revenues, commercial partnerships, etc.) - Have already developed a minimum viable product (beyond concept stage, with working product/prototype) - Are planning to start a fundraising round whose approach includes at least part equity-based financing

What does the mentorship program consist of?

Six weeks mentoring program, combining both collective classes and one-to-one mentorship sessions tailored to make the most of each project for a professional investor. Some of the topics which will be tackled during the program will be: Business Model, Marketing and Go to market, Finance and Funding, Legal and compliance and Tech. Best 5 projects will be invited in Madrid for a Demo day in front of real investors.

Where will the program be based?

The program will be fully remote. A Demo day will be held in Madrid, Spain, for the top 5 projects out of the 10 initially chosen for the program to pitch in front of real investors.

How many startups will be selected?

Up to 10 startups.

What is the time commitment for the teams?

Program details and schedules will be shared once the program will be approved. Teams will have approx. 3-5 mandatory hours per week divided between collective sessions and one to one mentoring sessions. During the program, the teams will have to work on fundraising material and pitch. Most of the programme's success will depend on teams efforts to make the most of it.

How will the program be delivered? What will be the official language of the program?

The programme will be developed in English, even though our team is also fluent in Spanish and Italian, to reach more empathy to those teams who are not native English speakers.

Does the program provide funding?

No, the program does not provide any funding. Demo day best pitch will be awarded a prize (more information soon) as well a unique opportunity for projects to pitch in font of real investors. Each project will be considered by Tritemius VC for investment but not guaranteed.
